I was born and raised in Hickory, NC. I recevied my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Masters of Education in Literacy Education from the University of North Carolina  at Greensboro. I have been a teacher for the last 14 years. I am very excited for another awesome year of 1st grade at Odell Primary this year.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, running, and doing activities outdoors. I also enjoy being an active member of my church and traveling the world!
