I have been teaching in Cabarrus County for twenty-five years.  I attended UNCC and have a Masters Degree in elementary education.  I taught kindergarten for nine years at WM Irvin and at Odell I taught first grade for twelve years and kindergarten for the last four years.  I am a very active person often biking, running or doing yoga.  The atmosphere in my class is also active with lots of moving, singing, dancing and small group center activities for math and literacy. My favorite hobby is offshore fishing.  I often go to Oak Island to spend time with my family.  I have a daughter of my own who is in discipleship training to be a missionary.  Teaching is my passion and I love Odell!!!
