FCCLA State Competition
Congratulations to the following students for their accomplishments at the state FCCLA competition.
Jaleah Miles placed 3rd in Food Innovations. (She had to create 2 cookies that were less than 10 grams of sugar.)
Isabella (Norah) Idries placed top 5 in the state in Fashion Construction. (She created a skirt that showcased 8 different apparel skills.)
Jessica Cruz Chavez and Lizabeth Chavez Cruz placed top 10 in the state in Fashion Design. (They designed their own pattern and dress from scratch.)Mr. Mirabelli's Creation!
Our very own art teacher, Mr. Mirabelli, designed the tifo for the Charlotte FC's home opener. The display was raised at Bank of America Stadium in front of an audience of nearly 70,000 people and picked up on social media by Major League Soccer.
Scholastic Art Award

The 2 gold keys and the silver key will be on display at the Mint Museum in downtown Charlotte later this year.

Governor Cooper Visits Concord High
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper visited Concord High School on Thursday, Oct. 13th, to celebrate Jump Start Jobs Week -- a community-wide event to connect local employers with high school students in the Jobs for North Carolina’s Graduates (JNCG) program.

Senior wrestler, Daniel Tierney, racked up his 100th win as a Spider.
The CTE department sponsored the Be Pro Be Proud NC VR bus stop at CHS to help students explore careers in technical trades.
