    I am originally from Western New York but have spent most of my adult life in the Charlotte area. I completed my undergraduate studies at SUNY-Cortland and my graduate studies at UNC Charlotte. I have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. I have served as a classroom teacher at the elementary level and as an administrator across elementary and high school settings.

    It is my honor and privilege to serve the students and families at Odell Primary. Our school has a rich tradition of partnering with the community and having a culture of educational excellence.     I am so excited to join the Odell Primary family as an Assistant Principal this year! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I am originally from Durham where I first started my career in education. I have lived in Charlotte for 7 years now. I completed my undergrad degree from East Carolina University in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading K-12. I completed my master's degree in School Administration from Western Carolina University. 

     

    I live with my husband and two fur babies: my cat, Penny and my dog, Brewster. My hobbies include traveling, hanging out with family/friends, and cooking. My favorite places to travel to are Hilton Head, Snowshoe, and New York City! I am so excited to become an Odell Dragon and I look forward to getting to know all students and families.
