Welcome to the sixth grade team of Helios 6. The subject that I teach is science. We will be doing labs and STEM projects in class; laptops will also be used to explore many topics in science. I am looking forward to a great year and feel confident that the students will adjust to middle school quickly.
I am a graduate of North Carolina State University, majoring in Food Science. My certification is in middle school math and science.
This week students are doing the second benchmarks for math and reading. We are also continuing our study of waves.
