Ms. Latasha Gaines

I'm Latasha Gaines and I am a 7th grade Social studies teacher. This is my second year as a Titan, and my third year teaching. I am from Salisbury NC and I enjoy music, food, dancing, traveling, movies and most importantly spending time with my family. I am a HUGE wrestling fan and music lover!! I am so excited for this school year and I know its going to be PHENOMENAL!

Starting March 30th, We will be beginning Remote learning. Students should go to Google classroom for Social Studies assignments and lessons. 

Our team office hours will be Tuesday 10am-12pm. We will be using Microsoft teams for live office hours. During this time you can ask any questions pertaining to an assignment etc. The name of our team is "Helios 7th grade office hours". Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I will post a pre recorded video giving instructions on an assignment, mini lessons etc. Outside of office hour time on Tuesday you may email me anytime at latasha.gaines@cabarrus.k12.nc.us

10:20- 12:00 2nd period

12:00- 1:38 3rd and 4th period 

1:38- 2:50 5th period

2:50 – 4:00 6th period
