Welcome to the Third Grade!!

I have been a Pitts School Road Panther since the school opened and am thrilled to be a member of the third grade team. This is my 22nd year in the education field. I can't believe it has been that long! I taught 2nd grade for six years, 3rd grade for twelve years, and grades K-5 for three years as a media coordinator.

I am originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio. Go Buckeyes! I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU, I  minored in English, allowing me become certified to teach grades K - 12. I later earned my master's degree in Elementary Education at Catawba College along with K - 12 reading certification. I also completed my second master's degree in Library and Information Science from UNCG. As you can tell, I love learning! Along with learning, I also love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
