Mrs. Knight

I have been teaching for over ten years. Before teaching here in North Carolina, I taught several years in Michigan. I have taught almost all grade levels.
I have one son, Jaret and my husband, Jim. Jaret is a sophomore in College in Tennessee. He plays volleyball there. My husband teaches at Harris Road middle. He also is a summer baseball coach and gives baseball lessons. I also have a sweet rescue Beagle named Hogan who is the SWEETEST dog in the world. We also have another dog now, named Dugan. He is very sweet as well, but is also quite a stinker. He doesn't learn very quickly and chews on everything, but we hope he will someday be as awesome as Hogan.

I really enjoy playing volleyball with my son and every year for the PSRES team, reading and spending time with my family (especially at the beach). I still have family that live in Michigan. My husband's family live mostly in NC!

I became a teacher because I love working with kids and helping them reach their full potential. Third graders are special because they grow so much during the year. I come from a whole family of teachers. My sister has become a teacher as well. She teaches in high school in Key West,FL. I am SO PROUD of her.
