Welcome to 5th grade!  I am excited about this school year and look forward to all of the fun we can have in math class!

 

I grew up in South Central Pennsylvania in small town called Middletown, named appropriately, located in the middle of many larger towns and cities.  We were about 20 minutes from the state capital, Harrisburg, and the chocolate capital, Hershey. I graduated from Middletown Area High School and went on to attend Penn State University and obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2003. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2010. I decided to relocate to North Carolina to begin my career and have taught the third, fourth, and fifth grades since 2003.  I have previously taught in the Guilford County School System and the Asheboro City School System.
