Welcome to Mrs. Nielsen's First Grade Flamingo Class! 

My name is Sarah Nielsen, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher! Your child will learn and grow so much throughout this school year. I can't wait to see how much we accomplish together!

This is my 8th year teaching. I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade. After 4 amazing years in Kindergarten here at PSRES, I am very excited to be back in First Grade! In 2015, I graduated from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, a concentration in Behavioral Studies, and a minor in Psychology. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dylan, going to the beach, reading, teaching at Pure Barre Highland Creek, and Clemson football- Go Tigers! It is a gift to be a part of the PSRES family, and I am looking forward to another amazing year.
