The GCRA strives to provide literacy opportunities to children, educators, and schools in Cabarrus County in order to create and support lifelong readers.

We accomplish these goals through professional development, literacy events, and community partnerships: Target, Concord Rotary, Chick-fil-A, Books-A-Million, Carolina Mall, Crazy Eight, The Wine Room, PENC, and SECU.

I love it because it offers students kindergarten through 12th grade the opportunity to write an essay or create a cover art design and enter it into a local competition every year.
