Ms. Erin Scannell

Welcome Back to School!

This year, I am responsible for rising 1st, 3rd, and 5th graders

Both School Counselors will continue to teach students about Kelso's Wheel of Choice (problem-solving skills) and Second Step (getting emotions under control) this year. We are also adding in the Positivity Project. We are very excited to see how well the program works with our students and staff!

I am always available to work with students individually. I intend to meet every student this year! I recognize that is easier said than done, but I have a number of opportunities during the school day as I walk around school, visit recesses and the cafeteria, and conduct Counseling lessons during their media Connect time.

I am available to assist parents and guardians who have concerns or questions about their students. We also have a weekly Newsletter that will discuss what we are doing each week, the Word of the Week, and the calendar of what is upcoming.

I know it will be another GREAT year as I have learned so much from my county colleagues, all the PES teachers & staff (including our Super Subs!), PTO Volunteers, parents, and perhaps my greatest teacher, the students!
