Mrs. Jacklyn Smith

Welcome to Mrs. Smith's Second Grade Classroom! I am elated to be your teacher! We are going to have a TERRIFIC school year! This is my 16th year teaching scholars like yourself and 9th year in Second Grade. It is my favorite! This will be my 5th year at Weddington Hills Elementary. I am very proud to be a Wildcat! I absolutely love being a teacher and giving my students the tools they need to be globally-minded successful learners.

I am from the mountains of North Carolina (Andrews) but now reside in Charlotte with my husband, two children and furbabies. I have two wonderful children, Ridge (7) and Giada (4). My hobbies include spending time with my family, running, reading, flower gardening, traveling, being out in nature, and of course TEACHING!
