Cabarrus County Schools Honor Graduates are classified as follows. Final weighted GPAs at the end of senior year are used, and GPAs are not rounded up. Students receive their honor cords on the morning of graduation.Summa Cum Laude(Gold Cord at Graduation) = 4.320 +Magna Cum Laude (Royal Blue Cord at Graduation) = 4.000 - 4.319Cum Laude (Red Cord at Graduation) = 3.625 - 3.999Other honors that are acknowledged in the graduation program::National Technical Honor Society
