Hi and Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

I am entering my 13th year of teaching and my 8th year in Cabarrus County.  This will be my first year at Weddington Hills. The most important thing to me is that students come to class and try.  I look forward to an exciting year with many adventures in learning!

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and then I went to college at East Stroudsburg University in PA and earned a dual degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.  Since college, I have lived and taught around the country, MA, FL, TX, HI, CA, MD and Now North Carolina for 7 years.  I have been blessed with four children, aged 18-24.
