Ms. Meghan Gibson

Hi! My name is Ms. Gibson I am a kindergarten teacher here at Weddington Hills This is my ninth year teaching at Weddington Hills but my twelfth year teaching. I love teaching kindergarten! There is so much exploring, learning and fun we get to have throughout the year. 

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011. I love teaching all subjects, but I especially love helping students discover their love of reading. I also love our IB curriculum! Students are very engaged and gain tons of knowledge through exploration in all subjects.

I grew up in a small town called Pilot Mountain. I love spending time with my son Samuel, and my two dogs Bailey and Duke. We love spending time outdoors whenever we get the chance. We also love to go the beach and visit my parents in the foothills! My mom, dad, sister, and nephews are also very important to me and I love spending time with them when I can.

I can’t wait to spend time learning and growing with your child!
