Acceptable Devices
Laptops
Any Wifi-enabled laptop or netbook that has a working web browser will work on our network. Platform or brand makes no difference.
Mobile Devices
Tablets, iPads, iPods, eReaders (Kindle, Nook), smart phones (phones that run these operating systems: iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian), and other Wifi-enabled devices will work on the network.
Laptops are more favorable for creating products; whereas, mobile devices are fine for researching, planning, and collaborating. Though laptops and netbooks are heavier to carry around, they allow you to be more productive in situations where you will be creating documents, movies, and other digital media. We suggest working with your teachers to determine what technology will best enable you to be successful.Unacceptable Devices
Unacceptable electronic devices include, but are not limited to, the following: phones that are not considered "smartphones", gaming devices (i.e. Nintendo 3DS, Handheld Playstation, etc.), recording devices, radios, pages, laser pointers, and any other similar devices.
