Mrs. Beth Childress

My name is Beth Childress and I am the Exploring Spanish/Spanish I teacher. This is my 15th year teaching beginner level Spanish and I've previously taught in SC, OH, and KY. I absolutely love teaching Spanish and am excited to be back in my home state teaching at C.C. Griffin Middle. I graduated from The University of North Carolina Asheville with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and completed a study abroad program with Universidad de Granada - Centro de Lenguas. In 2019, I received a Master's degree in Education with an Instructional Technology endorsement from Georgetown College.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and two cats (Fifi and Fluffy). I also love to read and hike whenever I get the opportunity. The easiest way to communicate with me is via email. Please don't hesitate to email any questions or concerns you may have.
