We have 50 students registered with the organization.   The students have to keep an A-in Spanish each semester. They are required 16 hours of community service each semester. The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH) is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and Portuguese. It is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Formally organized as the Spanish National Honor Society in 1953, the name was changed in 1959. At Jay M. Robinson High School, the students participate in community service projects and activities related to the Hispanic community in general.
