Mrs. Karen Lynne Golie, BSN, RN

My name is Mrs. Golie and I am the new Health Science Teacher at Jay M. Robinson High School.  I have over twenty years of nursing experience with a background in critical care nursing, community/public health nursing, school nursing, and occupational health nursing.  This year, I will be teaching Foundations of Health Science, Health Science I Honors, and Health Sciences II Honors. 

I received my Associate Degree in Nursing from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in 2000 and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013. I am completing my Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in Nursing Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte while also working toward my Graduate Certificate in Middle and Secondary Teaching through Appalachian State University.
