Mrs. Lacee Jacobs, Assistant Principal of Instruction

Welcome NCHS students and parents!  We are so excited for this upcoming school year and look forward to another successful year for our students.  I have been an NCHS Trojan since 2015. I graduated from UNC Wilmington in 2009 with a B.A. in Psychology.  In 2015, I earned a master’s degree in Counseling with a focus on school counseling from Wake Forest University.   I have worked as a school counselor in New Hanover County and Charlotte-Mecklenburg before moving to Northwest Cabarrus High School in 2015.  Most recently, I graduated from UNC Charlotte’s Aspiring High School Principal’s program and was thrilled to be able to move into a new role at a school I have come to love.  I think our students and staff are the best in the state!

In my free time I love reading, traveling, seeing live music, and enjoying life through the eyes of my children.

This year, I will be the administrator for students with last names A-G.  I hope you all have a wonderful school year!
