Dr. Dylan Horne, Ph.D. studied Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University (BS 2013, MCE 2015) and Oregon State University (PHD 2019). Their dissertation is titled: Sound and Vibration Analysis of Alternative Rumble Strips, a work on the effectiveness of quieter rumble strips designs. Research and advocacy focus include transportation equity, road safety, transportation policy, and active transportation infrastructure. Dr. Horne has worked in engineering, research, and nonprofits and is a lifelong learner and educator. They enjoy gardening, cooking, and bicycle riding, and are excited to be a part of Trojan Nation!
