Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kara Landers

I was born and raised in Greensboro, N.C! I moved to Charlotte N.C in 2006 due to my husband's job, and to finish my Bachelor's degree at UNCC. I graduated with a BA in General/Special Education K-12 and I'm HQ in English K-12.  My first three years of teaching were at Harris Road Middle School. I transferred to Northwest Cabarrus High School in 2010 and I'm proud to say this will be my 11th year at NCHS! I'm so grateful to be working with such an amazing staff!

Although I love teaching, I also love spending time with my husband and my two boys, Connor and Ethan! Connor is 12 and will be starting seventh grade this year and Ethan is 10 and will start fifth grade this year.  They grow up way too fast!  Family is one of the most important things to me. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, working out, cooking, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  My favorite time of the year is Fall and Football! And I absolutely love ice cream!!

I'm excited about what this year will bring, and I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns.
