In compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), in the fall of 1988 we performed inspections of each our school buildings for asbestos-containing building materials.  The inspection findings and asbestos management plans have been on file in each school administration office since that time.

The EPA requires us to perform re-inspections of the abestos materials every six months to determine the condition and potential of disturbance.  The asbestos materials in the school are in good condition and we will continue to manage it in place.

The results of the re-inspection are on file in the management plan in the school's administrative office. Everyone is welcome to view these anytime during normal school hours (M-F, 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.).  The Asbestos Program Manager is available to answer any questions you may have about abestos in our buildings.
