Mrs. Amanda Davis

Welcome to 3rd grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher and am looking forward to working with you to make this year AMAZING! This will be my 10th year teaching, and my 2nd year here at Patriots. I taught 2nd grade last year and am thrilled to be in 3rd grade this year. Previously, I have taught in Newport News, Virginia and Richmond, Virginia in both 2nd and 5th grade. 

I was raised here in Charlotte, NC and then moved to Virginia to attend college. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Christopher Newport University. I have two children; a son Cameron, who is 4 years old and a daughter, Kendall who is 6 months old. I have a love of reading and coffee and sweet treats. As a family, we are very active outside; we love to go on walks, go to the park and spend time at the pool.
