I am one of the two Speech and Language Pathologists (SLPs) at Patriots STEM Elementary School. I am originally from Indiana, but I have also worked in Illinois and Iowa before moving to North Carolina in 2016. My family settled down in the Charlotte area in 2017. I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and discovering great restaurants with my husband and our nine year old daughter, and going for walks with our Goldendoodle, Cocoa.
During my 20+ years as a Speech and Language Pathologist, I have worked with children and adults with a wide variety of speech and language impairments. I have worked in the medical setting, private practice, and community settings; however, I have enjoyed the majority of my career working with children in the school setting. This is my third year at Patriots, and it is a pleasure greeting returning students and welcoming new students every year! I look forward to continued collaboration with families as we support OUR children in reaching their full communication potential!
