Hello and welcome to Speech!

My name is Amber Cooper and I am a Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP). This year I will be serving at Boger and Rocky River Elementary Schools. I am from Charlotte, NC and attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, but I am thrilled to continue my journey as an SLP in Cabarrus County Schools. This will be my fifth year serving as an SLP in the county! I received both my Bachelor and Master degress in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) from Western Carolina University where I played softball during my undergraduate studies! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and soon to be son (November), pulling for the Carolina Panthers and exercising. 

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, my goal is to help children accurately produce speech sounds, understand and express language in a variety of settings and become confident and successful communicators.
