Mrs. Jamie Stavenger

Welcome to Boger Elementary!  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help your Kindergartner SHINE this year! My family loves living in Kannapolis, where my husband works in health care and my children love to play! My daughter attends NW Middle School, and my son is a rising 5th grader here at Boger. 

This will be my fifth year teaching Kindergarten at Boger! During my 22 years in education, I have had the privilege of teaching in California (my home state!), Minnesota, and North Carolina. I have enjoyed many roles within education- teaching in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 6th grade, and college freshmen at Biola University, where I worked as an instructor, credential analyst and academic advisor. In Cabarrus County, I served as a Lead Teacher for Royal Oaks Elementary. I carry additional certifications with my licensure in the areas of Music and Crosscultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD). A special memory for me was teaching first graders the English language in Casablanca, Morocco!

I am so excited to meet the BRIGHT new kiddos and parents that will be joining me for this new school year!  You will be so proud of what your student will accomplish in Kindergarten...it truly is special to watch them grow in academics, friendships, and maturity during this formative year of school.  See you soon!
