I am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade again this year!  I am originally from Virginia and have lived in NC for over 20 years! My husband, Chris, and I have three children.  All three are Boger Beacon alumni! Lilly and Emmy are currently NW High School Trojans and Harris is a NW Middle School Titan!

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a BS in Family and Child Development and Early Childhood Education, I taught 4th grade in Charlotte before stepping out of the classroom.  During this time, I stayed involved in early childhood education as a Senior Program Director with the Y and later as a substitute and interim teacher here at Boger.  Most recently, I have enjoyed teaching both 2nd and 3rd grade! I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Queen's University of Charlotte. When I'm not at school, you can usually find me with a good book or at one of my children's many activities!

I can't wait to see our third graders SHINE BRIGHT this year!
