Mi nombre es Livier Chavez, y este es mi septimo año en el distrito escolar de Alvord. Tengo más de 20 años enseñando los grados primarios en el sur de California. He trabajado con varios distritos y he impartido clases de inmersión en inglés y de doble inmersión. Me gradué de la Universidad del sur de California y decidí obtener mi credencial después de descubrir que no estaba satisfecha con mi primer profesión. He dedicado mi vida no solamente a la enseñanza, pero a mis 4 hijos. Disfruto el aprendizaje, viajar y ahora, ser abuela. Amo el primer grado por el entusiasmo, la curiosidad, y el cariño de los estudiantes.

My name is Livier Chavez, and this is my seventh year with Alvord Unified School District. I have been teaching the primary grades in Southern California for over 20 years. I have worked with various districts and have taught both mainstream and dual immersion classes. I am a graduate from the University of Southern California and decided to obtain my teaching credential after discovering that I was not satisfied with my first career. I have not only dedicated my life to teaching but to my 4 children. I enjoy learning, traveling and now, becoming a grandmother. I love first grade for the enthusiasm, curiosity, and love the students share with me.
