Aprendizaje en primer grado

Primer grado es un año de muchos cambios y un gran desarrollo en el aprendizaje. ¡Es el año de aprender a leer! Algunos de los logros importantes en primer grado son:

• leer independientemente
• volver a contar el tema y detalles importantes de un texto informativo
• volver a contar la secuencia de un cuento
• contar y trabajar con números hasta 120
• sumar/restar dentro de 20
• sumar/restar de memoria hasta 10
• escribir un párrafo de 4-5 oraciones

Además, porque el desarrollo social y emocional es clave para el aprendizaje, en primer grado aprenderemos a:

• fijar y lograr metas
• sentir y enseñar empatía
• establecer y mantener amistades
• hacer decisiones responsables
• entender y manejar emociones

First grade is a year of many changes, including remarkable growth in learning. It is the year students learn to read! Some of the important achievements of first grade are:

• reading independently
• retelling the main idea and important details of a text 
• counting and working with numbers through 120
• adding and subtracting within 20
• adding and subtracting fluently within 10
• writing a 4-5 sentence paragraph
