Expectativas de conducta

Seguiremos las expectativas para navegar a la excelencia de Valley View: opciones seguras, actuando con respeto, amabilidad intencional, liderar responsablemente. Juntos decidiremos qué comportamientos
demuestran y cuáles no demuestran estas expectativas. Como parte de las reglas de nuestra clase,
también haremos nuestro mejor esfuerzo todos los días.

Nuestro sistema de disciplina utiliza 5 cartas de colores: morado, verde, amarillo naranja y rojo.
Su hijo comienza cada día con el color verde. Si su hijo no sigue las expectativas de toda la escuela,
su hijo recibirá una advertencia y recibirá una tarjeta amarilla. Si el comportamiento inapropiado
persiste, recibirá una tarjeta naranja y aplicaré nuevas estrategias para ayudar a su hijo a cumplir
con la expectativa. Si el comportamiento se vuelve disruptivo, recibirá una tarjeta roja y tendrá
que reflexionar sobre su comportamiento en otro salón de clases o reunirse con un administrador.
Los padres serán informados diariamente sobre el comportamiento de su hijo a través de un calendario
mensual. Los estudiantes completarán el color con el que terminaron el día y los padres firmarán el
calendario diariamente. Este calendario permanecerá en la carpeta de comunicación AVID de cada niño.

We will follow Valley View's SAILing expectations: Safe choices, Acting respectfully, intentional kindness, Leading responsibly. Together we will decide which behaviors demonstrate and do not demonstrate these expectations.  As part of our class rules, we will also  do our best every day.

Our system of discipline uses 5 color cards: purple, green, yellow orange and red. your child begins each day with the color green. If your child does not follow schoolwide expectations, your child will receive a warning receive a yellow card. If the inappropriate behavior persists, they will receive an orange card and I will apply new strategies to help your child meet the expectation. If the behavior becomes disruptive, they will receive a red card and have to reflect on their behavior in another classroom or meet with an administrator. Parents will be informed daily of their child's behavior via a monthly calendar. Students will fill in the color they ended the day with and parents will sign the calendar daily. This calendar will remain in each child's AVID communication folder.
