 GRADING (for each marking period):   health notebook (collection of assignments) = 40%  projects = 40%  quizzes = 20%   *final exam is worth 1/3 of final average   ATTENDANCE:   9 absences allowed in half year course 5 absences = warning letter sent home (student can attend night school, but not required) more than 9 absences = course failure (NE)   *Whether an absence is legal or illegal, student is responsible for all missed work/notes   LATE WORK: 10 points deducted for each day work is late
