Algebra A is the first year of our two-year algebra curriculum.  The New York State outline is followed, but an abbreviated list of topics includes: algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, linear functions, arithmetic sequences, systems of linear equations and inequalities, exponents, exponential functions, geometric sequences and factoring trinomials.
