Algebra 2

Flags: flexpage,

Algebra 2 is the most advanced high school mathematics course.  The New York State outline is followed, but an abbreviated list of topics includes: polynomial functions, radical functions, quadratic functions, complex numbers, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, geometric sequences, trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, conditional probability, independence/dependence, and statistics.  Throughout the course, modeling and applications of the topics will be studied.  A student must pass both the course and the state assessment in June for an advanced regents diploma.  Upon completion of this course, students will select a college-level mathematics course.
