2nd Grade News

Dear Parents,

We will be having a gift exchange in the classroom for Christmas. We ask that everyone who wishes to participate to please send a $5 gift. Boys will buy for boys and girls for girls.  Gifts are due by December 18.

The 2nd Grade Christmas Music Program will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Please have your child in the classroom by 6:30.

Next week in:

Communication Arts: We will be working on irregular nouns,  prefixes and suffixes, comparing texts and reading a play. We will be testing over this unit this week.

Spelling: There will be NO SPELLING words next week!

Math: We will be working on solving one and two step problems, critiquing reasoning, reviewing our unit and testing over this unit.

Social Studies/Science:  We will continue working on our Economics unit. A study-guide is in the Friday Folder. We will be testing over this unit on Friday.

Upcoming Events:

December 7th- P.T.O. Pk-5 Movie Night at 5:30 “The Incredibles 2” - cost is $5

December 14- Character Education Assembly 8:30

December 19- Early Out Christmas Break

January 3- Classes resume
