Residents who are unable to vote on the Capital Improvement Project on December 13, 2022 because of disability, illness, or travel may apply for an absentee ballot by completing the application here and returning it to Fairport Central School District, Office of the District Clerk, 38 West Church Street, Fairport,

FCSD administrators and staff are excited to share more information with our Fairport neighbors and friends about the proposed Fairport Forward 2022 Capital Improvement Project. In mid-October, the Board of Education approved a Proposition Resolution calling for a Special Vote on December 13, 2022!

Here’s what you need to know about Fairport Forward 2022:

- - The next stage in the District’s phased plan to:

- - - Stage FHS for the merger of our ninth-grade students

- - - Consolidate District buildings

- - - Protect your investment in our facilities by updating infrastructure

- - The anticipated impact to voters is an additional $59 a year for homes valued at $200k

- - - It is projected that taxpayers would see this impact begin in the 2025-26 fiscal year

- - Project highlights include:

- - - Multi-purpose STEAM learning spaces at FHS

- - - Reimagined and renovated FHS music,

The District is preparing for the next proposed Capital Improvement Project: Phase II of Fairport Forward! The anticipated vote date for this proposal is December 13, 2022.

The Fairport and Perinton communities turned out in full force to support the Fairport Central School District at Raider Nation Homecoming on September 16, 2022. Thousands of people gathered at Fairport High School to honor the District’s Varsity athletic teams at the pep rally and to share the spirit of Once a Raider,

Dear Fairport Community;

This has been a whirlwind of a first week! There was a sense of joy and excitement that one can only find in our Fairport Schools. Our students were welcomed back into our buildings, cafeterias and classrooms with open arms and a sense of joy.

The Fairport Central School District will honor its new members in the Education Wall of Distinction Induction Ceremony, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at Fairport High School room 512. Fairport community members are invited to attend.

Please join us, rain or shine, on Friday evening at FHS for this community wide event that will include a pep rally, food trucks, a bonfire and fireworks!

Shuttle services will run from 5 to 9 p.m. from several locations (Jefferson Ave., Martha Brown, Dudley/Northside, and Center Park).
