The Fairport Central District invites parents and community members to its upcoming session, Title I Parent and Family Engagement, Wednesday, April 6 at 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Minerva Deland Large Group Instruction Room.

All school districts who receive Title I funding are required to do an annual district wide parent meeting to inform parents of its programming related to Title I, the requirements of Title I, and the rights of parents to be involved in their child’s education. The specific focus of this session will be to review Board of Education Policy 8260 – Title I Parent and Family Engagement. The policy will be explained and attendees will be invited to give feedback and/or ask questions related to this Policy and Title I programming.
