The Fairport CSD is inviting parents and community members to have an opportunity to engage in deeper discussions and provide input on the upcoming 2021-22 school budget development process. To gather your feedback, the District is using Thoughtexchange. All of your voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.
Click here to participate (https://my.thoughtexchange.com/193864251). Participation will be open until Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021 at 9 p.m.
You’ll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others (20 to 30 is ideal), and learn what’s important to the group.
- Your thoughts and stars are confidential.
- You can come back as often as you’d like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to “star” some of the new ideas shared since you first participated.
- The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on as we continue through this new and different school year.
Community Budget Meeting, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
We will host a Community Group Budget Meeting on Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m. via our YouTube, with our District administration, for parents and community members to have an opportunity to engage in deeper discussions and provide input on the upcoming 2021-22 school budget development process. We’ll be using the feedback gathered from the exchange for this meeting. The meeting is open to all District residents and school community members to ask questions via the ThoughtExchange.
In addition to the Community Group Budget Meeting, residents are encouraged to watch board meetings and budget forums, and to explore the budget section on the District’s website to learn more at: www.fairport.org/budget.
