Fairport Central School District

Dear Fairport CSD Parents/Guardians:

We have direction from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the Governor’s office as well as the Monroe County Department of Health that we may begin high risk sports this winter. There is a tremendous amount of guidance surrounding the safety measures that the Monroe County Public School Athletic Conference (MCPSAC) and Fairport CSD must undertake to have student athletes practice and play in as safe an environment as possible.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has approved boys and girls basketball, wrestling and ice hockey.  A decision on cheerleading will be made soon by Section V.

Start Dates – 2/1/2021:
  • Boys and Girls JV/V Basketball
  • Varsity Ice Hockey
  • JV/V Wrestling
