Residents in the Fairport Central School District approved the Fairport Forward capital improvement project, Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The results from the capital project vote are as follows:

Proposition #1 (Capital Project) – Approved

YES — 2069
NO — 963

Proposition #2 (Capital Building Reserve Fund) – Approved
YES — 2182
NO — 849

Today, residents supported the Fairport Forward Capital Improvement Project vote with a 68% approval.

Thank you for your continued support of Fairport Central School District. We appreciate your confidence in our planning process and support of our vision for our District’s facilities. With your approval of the project, we look forward to making this plan come to fruition.

Our next steps will include refining the project design, followed by submission to the New York State Education Department. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
