The Fairport Central School District’s Annual Raider Nation Homecoming Weekend expands on the traditional homecoming activities to include a community wide pep rally, music, food trucks, children’s activities, music, a bonfire and fireworks as this year celebrates the third year of this annual event. The festivities will begin on Friday, October 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Fairport High School with Kid Zone activities and food trucks.
For your planning purposes, here is some of the excitement you can expect to experience at Fairport High School during this free school community event:
Friday October 13, 5:30 – 9 p.m. at Fairport High School
- 5:30 – 7:15 p.m.: Kid Zone, music on stage
- 5:30 – 9 p.m.: Food Trucks (food and drinks for purchase)
- 7:15 p.m.: Pep Rally (families are encouraged to gather at their designated school to participate in the District Spirit Competition!)
- 8 p.m.: Bonfire begins
- 8:30 p.m.: Fireworks
The event is rain or shine. Parking will be limited, and families are strongly encouraged to utilize the free shutle service provided for the Friday night activities from Martha Brown Middle School, Dudley/Northside Schools and the Perinton Recreation Center. Seating is also limited; families are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs/blankets.
