Ms. Rachel L. Stafford

Hello!

My name is Rachel Stafford, and I have been an Art teacher for almost 32 years. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education. I began my teaching career in 1988 with Cabarrus County Schools, and have always called W.R. Odell Elementary my home school. I have also held itinerant positions at Northwest Middle School (6th grade) and Cox Mill Elementary School.

Aside from teaching Art, I love taking part in equine activities. I have owned many horses in my life, and the two that currently own me are Raymond and Abradu, both Arabians. In addition, our family has three cats (Rosie, Max and Tootie) and three dogs (Gracie, Ozzie, and Barney).

I believe that art enriches our lives, contributes to critical thinking, and that anyone can be creative when given the opportunity and guidance.
