Ms. Abi Abercrombie

I am entering my 17th year of teaching, 10 of those years in second grade. I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2005, and began teaching at Odell Elementary that August. I taught 5th grade at the old Odell, 4th and 5th here at the "new" Odell, and I stayed in second grade when the schools split. 

I have one daughter, who is a senior in high school this year. She loves high school and all the freedoms she has. She is in the marching band and plays in the Pit. She plays the marimba, but has played snare drums, bass drums, and the kettle drums were her favorite! 

I always look forward to fresh new faces in August. I love that I get to "start over" each year and try exciting new things. Lets get ready for an awesome year!! I am excited about beginning this awesome journey together.
