Mrs. Lara Cabaniss

Greetings!   I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I received my Master's Degree from Gardner-Webb University.  I love working and teaching in Cabarrus County's STEM schools with our amazing teachers. This year I am serving as the STEM Coach at R. Brown McAllister and Winecoff.  I am proud of our county's ten STEM schools and the growth that we have experienced.  I am excited about our future because I know we are teaching remarkable students that will have an incredible impact on our world.  I am married to my best friend, and we have twins who are sophomores at Western Carolina University. In my spare time, I love to travel with my family, work jigsaw puzzles, and do geeky science things!  I'd love to hear from you if you have questions or ideas to make our STEM program even better!
