Courses offered through Career & Technical Education are based on student demand and industry recommendation. Courses are aligned to the target industries identified by state, regional, and local business leaders. Below are organizations supporting the programs offered in Cabarrus County Schools.

- Charlotte Regional Business Alliance
Courses and pathways are also aligned with the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment required through the Strengthening Career & Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, or Perkins V. Courses may be offered through an academy model, or as an individual career pathway. Middle school courses are offered as an aligned pathway in partnership with their high school feeder pattern.
