Math Supplies

We will not have lockers this year, so I will be keeping supplies to a minimum.  Many of the items below will be used across all subjects.  We will work on keeping an organized composition notebook in math. However, if students already have a FABULOUSLY organized notebook, I am happy to allow them to continue their own system - this is at the teacher's discretion!!!!

Math only:

Several composition books (*or your own fabulously organized method...that you will need to carry from class to class all day)

Colorful pronged folder (like bright orange or yellow)

Loose leaf note paper 

Graph paper 

Pencils (with erasers)

For all classes:

Colored pencils or pens (for checking homework)

Dry erase markers - we will sue these OFTEN in class

Dry erase eraser (or sock)

Highlighters

Headphones

        I will rarely allow calculator use, and will have a class set of TI-34 Fraction Calculators.  If you REALLY want to buy one I would recommend the TI-84 Graphing Calculator - it can be used all the way through SAT/ACT testing.  This costs about $125, so is a big expense for kids that may not be very careful with their belongings.
