Welcome to Winkler Middle School for the 2022-2023 School Year. I am one of the Language and Literature (ELA) teachers for the 6th grade. I have been teaching going on 27 years this coming January. I have been at Winkler since it opened and before that I was at J.N. Fries. Prior to North Carolina I lived and grew up in Florida. Go Gators!!! Go Owls!! My daughter, Jordan, is a sophomore this fall at UNCC. Our dog, Diesel, is a little fruit loop--he's so not your typical dog and is Mr. A's buddy. I love to read and I hope to instill some of that love into our students this school year. If you ever have any questions please feel free to contact me either by phone or email.
