This is my 25th year teaching. I will be teaching 6th grade Individuals and Societies on the Prideful Pack. This is my 4th year at Winkler. I taught 9 years at Patriots STEM Elementary. Before that I was at Harrisburg Elementary for 11 and in Charlotte Mecklenburg for 1. I am excited to start the school year here at Winkler Middle with my new students and can't wait to see what new things we can learn. When I'm not at school I love to spend time with my husband Mike going to UNC Charlotte Football games and vacationing in Charleston. I enjoy traveling and especially spending time with my family at Myrtle Beach. I have 2 nieces and 3 nephews so there are lots of trips down to the beach to spoil them. I also have a niece and nephew who live here in Charlotte.

Students will not have Social Studies homework unless they do not use their time wisely and complete their classwork.

We are learning about the changes in empires and governments. Our next big test will be on Wednesday, April 5th. Students will be given a study guide to use to prepare for the test.
