Mrs. Jennifer Caligan

Welcome to CC Griffin STEM!  I am excited to be working as the CC Griffin STEM Coach for the 2020-2021 school year!  I also serve as the STEM Coach for the Central Cabarrus High School STEM program.  I received my Undergraduate and Masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and my add on meteorology license from N.C. State University.  I have spent 16 years in the classroom as a National Board Certified teacher in Guilford County and Cabarrus County.  After 13 years of teaching in Guilford County, my husbands job relocated us to the Charlotte area where I spent three years teaching fifth grade at Patriots STEM Elementary before becoming a Cabarrus County STEM Coach four years ago.  We have two children: Tanner who is 5 and Grayson who is 10, both who attend Patriots Elementary.  I enjoy sports and being outdoors.  I truly believe the STEM program will help lead our Mighty Gryphons into the 21st Century ready to excel in all academic areas.  Please contact me with any questions you might have about our STEM program!
